Our Team

Emily Fryer

I have a Masters degree in conservation from Durham University and over 10 years' practical experience in treating a wide range of three dimensional objects. I have worked as a conservator for Bristol City Museum, the Tate Gallery in London and the Antarctic Heritage Trust in Antarctica. Please see my conservation experience page for more details.

My masters thesis and my funded research at the Tate Gallery were both focused on the conservation and care of metals. I am especially interested in the role played by artists in the conservation of their work and the recording of artist intent.

I am a full member of the New Zealand Conservators of Cultural Materials.
